AWS WoodDesign seamlessly combines the natural warmth of timber with the durability and stability of aluminium. By cladding the room-side aluminium vent profiles with real timber strips through an advanced bonding process, AWS WoodDesign enhances the design possibilities of super-insulated, sashless block windows. This innovative system offers the optimal thermal insulation and slim profile widths of aluminium, a 90 mm basic depth, and the cosy, natural aesthetic of timber – delivering the perfect balance of beauty, performance, and practicality.
Design Meets Function
Schüco WoodDesign is available for block window systems with basic depths of 75 mm and 90 mm. The timber surface finish is achieved by bonding wood decorative strips to the vent profiles, allowing the window to harmonize seamlessly with the home’s interior color scheme. Alternatively, the contrast between the timber and profile surfaces can be used to create a striking and stylish accent, offering versatile design possibilities.
